​Everyone who knows me, knows I love thrift shopping!  I love digging through racks for  designer tops, name brand jeans, and vintage/retro finds.   Not to mention it’s super eco-friendly to shop 2nd hand and upcycle unwanted items into new designs! It makes me feel like I’m out here saving the planet one pair of jeans at a time!

 

My biggest problem  with thrifting as a plus size individual is how difficult it can be to find quality, gently used name brand clothing in  extended sizes (3x and up)    Typically, in most thrift stores, straight size clothing is neatly organized by size and even color.  However, In the very same store ,it's common find any plus size clothing, shoved onto one rack, in the back of the store with little to no organization.  I would spend a lot of time looking but would walk away empty handed.  To add insult to injury,  many consignment or resale stores will only accept trades or consignments for smaller plus sizes, or even  worse don’t take plus sizes at all!!

I wanted to change that!   I opened More 2 Love Resale Boutique, an online resale store  that caters to big, beautiful individuals just like me here in SE Arizona that offers the opportunity to trade in clothing, earn points for shopping and eventually create a fat positive community both virtually and in real life.
